Introduction
As someones who a part of this community, this culture is very personal to me and I want to represent it in a good light. The idea I'm going with is to create a promotional package for a Pride 2021 event for the LGBT+ community.
My Idea
This package will consist of a logo for the event, a poster, a flyer, stickers, a printed canvas bag and a printed unisex t-shirt. I will also be making a website and designing social media posts to advertise the event due to the target audience being part of Gen Z and their time online.

Next Steps
I will be creating mock-ups of logos in different design trends from, abstract psychedelia, symbol revival, retro futurism and seamless surrealism. These are the most popular trends currently in 2021 and I have described each one in the post linked, Graphic Design Trends.
After creating various mock-ups, I will then test them on the target audience to see which one does best and then I'll have a clear direction to in next and what design trend to go with. You can see this here, Testing the Logos with the Target Audience and Final Logo.
