Introduction
After finalising my logo, I have created the poster for the event. I will be uploading a separate post detailing how the production process and skills I have developed while creating this item. In this post, I will be showcasing this version of the poster and will be asking for feedback for any changes I could make.
Version #1
Above is the first version I made without any feedback and it just my own design and inspiration from other designers such as A.M Cassandre. Straight away I can notice some errors, such as the 'PRIDE' being low quality, the shadow behind the 'Huddersfield' is too bright, and there is a lot of unnecessary negative space under the train station graphic.
Audience Feedback:
I sent out a questionnaire on my social media (click here to see) and left it over lunch. 11 people answered in total I got some good detailed feedback which I wasn't expecting.
The Results:
The main comment from the questionnaire is that the text around the border is hard to read, which I agree with. I will create another version of the poster with this feedback in mind. I'm happy I asked for feedback because I now know what to do and what the audience is happy with.
