Introduction
I made this mock-up because the symbolism of a rainbow has represented the LGBTQ community for decades, and I wanted to incorporate an actual rainbow in one of my designs rather than just having a block version of the pride flag.
After showing someone whos not only in the age range of the target audience but is part of the community, he said he preferred this logo from the other mock-ups I did because after maybe having a difficult time coming to terms with who you are, the rainbow coming out of the clouds symbolises hope at the end of it which Pride is all about.
