Introduction
After I researched the art deco design style, I have decided to experiment with its characteristics. I have created a background for the social media posts which will be promoting the pride event. Scroll down for analysis.
Analysis
This simple but effective three-dimensional cube pattern symbolises completeness, solidity, and durability. I would consider this as an appropriate design to symbolise the LGBTQ+ community, as they have gone through a lot of criticism and discrimination but they kept strong and together.
This pattern is also known to be a characteristic of the art deco design style. Since my target audience picked that design to be the most appealing, I thought I would experiment on Illustrator to see what I could do and improve my skill set.
This has defiantly improved my Illustrator skillset as I've learned the importance of smart grids and learned how to use the gradient slider to create depth/shadows.
